I've done a lot of searching on Pinterest this year since I've been planning lessons from scratch again. Along the way, I found a "How to Draw a Reindeer" document. It was pretty straight forward so I decided to use those steps for drawing in our relay this year.
The Frosty relay had problems on it that we haven't quite gotten to in 6th grade so I made all new problem sets. I was worried about that taking a long time, but it really didn't. (Thank goodness!)
I put them in groups and we got started. It went really well and as usual we voted on our favorite reindeer at the end.

They got to choose their own reindeer's name.
