Christmas Door Contest

We had community members come in and judge the classroom doors. They picked one winner for each grade level and the winner got $50!

I didn't win. :(

I'm thinking they were going more for student created doors because I was surprised at the winners. (Student involvement was optional)

The 6th grade door was one of my team mates and the students in her homeroom really did work hard on the door and did all of it themselves.

The door on the right was the 7th grade winner. I think the door on the left is hilarious!

This door was created by the students in the other homeroom on my team. 

And I thought this door was great even though students have no clue who Destiny's Child is!

The last two days before break, students had the chance to vote by putting money in buckets outside of each door. The same door that won for 6th grade won for that as well, which I wasn't surprised about because those kids were all about their door! They won another $50! I might have to let go of my OCD and let my students create my door next year.
