One Last Look

Today we start EOGs, which means everything math related had to come down off my walls. So, I thought I'd take one last look around my room because I won't be hanging this stuff back up until next year. Here is what the room started the year off looking like. Everything is fresh and bright. Here is a look at the end of the year...
We filled up the Spectacular Lightning Bolts wall with our autobiography equations. These didn't have to come down so there is still some color on the walls.
We filled in the word wall.

The hall passes got worn out.

We made and signed our social contracts.

The wall by my desk was filled with notes and drawings from my students and fellow teachers.
My cabinet became a great place to hang more student work. These are glorified color by number worksheets. Students had to complete a math problem in order to figure out how to color the picture.
The Stars Among Us wall stayed full of awesome work all year!
The No Name Graveyard also stayed full...
My poor poor calculators...I had to number them after one went missing at the beginning of the year. There are four missing because I had a lot get broken this year. Between them getting dropped on the floor and batteries dying, my class set of 30 is currently down to 18. Sad.
More notes and drawings from students.

It's been a good year even though my classroom has taken a bit of a beating. Pray for my students and me as we have three full days of testing.
