Teacher Appreciation

This week was teacher appreciation week. My first year, I was blown away with the gifts. I had no idea students got gifts for teachers or that there was even such thing as a teacher appreciation week.

Last year, I was surprised again at the generosity.

This year did not disappoint. Here's a peek at some of the goodies I got.

The week started off with a Chick-Fil-A cookie and a free Chick-Fil-A bisquit on Tuesday...you can never go wrong with free Chick-Fil-A!

Each day we got a little goodie in our box with a cute saying on it. These were not quite as corny as last year. :) (Monday: A cookie that said "Thanks for making me one smart cookie" Tuesday: M&M's with something for each color. Wednesday: Post its and a highlighter that said "We proudly post that you're the highlight of our day!" Thursday: Starburst that said "Be the star you are." Friday: a bag of peanuts that said "We're nuts about you.")

And, my students, once again, spoiled me with flowers, gift cards, and candy!

The best part is always the hand written notes...my students really are awesome!
Carrington could not ask for a better PTO. They spoil us with giveaways, duty free lunch, and all of the surprises in our box each day! The Mexican Fiesta lunch on Wednesday was amazing...and I had to force myself not to take more than one dessert.
