I don't know about you, but I'm a sucker for banana bread. And, adding chocolate chips just makes it that much better. I had several banana bread recipes pinned, but this is the only one that I had all of the ingredients for on hand. I have several of my own recipes, but the batter is too thin to hold the chocolate chips and I've always ended up with a layer of chocolate at the bottom of my bread, which isn't always a terrible thing. However, I have been looking for a recipe that would be thicker and possibly hold the chocolate chips better. The chocolate chips still fell some in this bread, but not as bad. And, it was quite tasty! It was quick and easy to mix together. I did have to bake it for longer than the 60 minute recommendation...I think mine ended up being around 75 minutes, but it was totally worth it. I would highly recommend it!
