One of my students found my blog this week. I intentionally don't have it show up in mini-feeds on Facebook so that school people, specifically students can't find my blog. But, I did have the link posted in my info section on my profile. Apparently my info wasn't private and that's how she found the link. Students find me all the time on Facebook, but can't see my profile. I thought they couldn't see anything, but apparently I was wrong. I took my link off that night. My student was mad at me the next day because she couldn't get to it anymore. I'm just glad she hadn't already saved the link.
How great is the 70 degree weather? At first I really wanted it to get cold so we could have a winter. But, when it actually did get cold, I just whined about wanting the warm weather back.
The snow on Sunday did earn us a 2 hour delay. I may have done a happy dance Sunday night when I got that phone call!
I have developed a new obsession/love for cool whip. I bought some a while back for my cake batter dip and bought too much. Then, Stephen and I got on a hot chocolate kick and I got the bright idea to use the extra cool whip on that (real original huh?). Now, I just eat spoonfuls of it when I get home from school. It's SO good!
Tomorrow is a teacher work day. Then, Stephen and I are getting away for the weekend and going to the beach! Too bad it isn't going to be close to 80 degrees this weekend. But, I'll be at the beach and I'm good with that.
We had an assembly today at school for Black History Month. We had a guest speaker that talked for a very long time. I may have been getting squirmy and agitated towards the end as much as if not more than my students. The rest of the assembly was great other than the fact his speech took away time from student performances.
One of my students said something really funny today. But, since it was during a quiz, I ignored him and now I forgot... : /
