What better time to take pictures than after a day of cleaning and finalizing decorating for our first dinner party?
Coming in the front door...the bathroom is straight in front of you (Yea...not sure about that design...)
Bedrooms are to the right of this picture.
Living room and kitchen are to the left of this picture.
Thankfully there are some cabinets behind the bathroom door, but counter space is non-existent in the bathroom, nor do they make cabinets that fit in the space we have between the sink and wall you see below. So, $5 Ikea floating shelves for the win! It's not pretty, but when you only have one bathroom, guests will just have to see all of your stuff...

Our table fits perfectly in the corner. This house might be old and cabinets and closets might be teeny tiny, but the rooms are a really good size!

I wasn't sure you could get less counter and cabinet space than we had in our apartment in Durham. When we first looked at this house, the openness of the kitchen fooled me. When we moved in, I realized there is very limited counter and cabinet space. We had to buy a cabinet for our pantry and that island, courtesy of Ikea, has helped tremendously!
Into the laundry room...and half bathroom...Yea...not sure about that toilet, but it's there and it counts!
To the right of this picture is the door between the kitchen and laundry room. This used to be the back porch. And, that window with the brown drape used to look into the bathroom.
Back to the front door going the other way...into the bedrooms
The front door to the house is to the right of this picture. ^ The rest of the bedrooms are to the left of this picture. ^
Front guest bedroom
Middle bedroom to the left of the bookshelf a few pictures up...this one is weird because you have to go through it to get to our bedroom as you can see in this picture.
The other corner of the middle room (below)...these cabinets are so random, but SO helpful. As you can see from that tiny closet door over in the corner, closet space is limited. There is no way we'd have fit all of our stuff in here without these cabinets. They are perfect for linens and other random items like sleeping bags and air mattresses!
And, our bedroom...
Then, there's the backyard. We have a great size back yard. The front yard is small, but there is plenty of room in the back. We've got the nice space over to the right for hanging out and playing corn hole and then the yard is complete with a swing set, tree house, and back deck! We're excited to get out some this fall and enjoy the yard more!
As you can see, we have an official guest room and a "kind-of" guest room. So, come visit! :)
A tray E…? We'll have to work on that. BUT the end tables in your room look great and the guest bedroom came together really well!
