Thanksgiving Break!!

My brain is totally confused! Today is Tuesday, but it was our last day of school for the week and I gave a test. So, my brain thinks it's Friday. I'm okay with that because I have 5 whole days off of work! Most of my planning and grading is done, which means I will thoroughly enjoy this break with family and friends!

I never did an official "reveal" of my hair cut. I was trying to get my hair cut before school pictures, but that didn't happen. I didn't love my first school picture and I really wanted my new hair cut in the yearbook instead of my old one. I know...I'm ridiculous. Nevertheless, I share my before and after school pictures with you. Yes, this is the exact same shirt in a different color. The first one is burgandy...I'm not sure why it looks so red. The second one was taken at 7am, which is why my eyes are a little puffier...okay they're a little puffy in both...such is the life of a middle school teacher.

In true Thanksgiving fashion...I'm thankful for:

A Savior who loves me unconditionally...who left paradise to come to a sinful world...who lived a perfect life and died a perfect death so I/we could have forgiveness.

My husband who loves me despite my frustrating cleanliness demands

My family

My church family/community

A job

My co-workers who make working with middle schoolers even more entertaining

My students

Coconut

Our home

Really I don't have anything to be unthankful for...we are so blessed.
