State Fair Fried Fun

The State Fair was in town last week and we got to spend an evening enjoying the sights, sounds, and food!

We kicked the night off with a deep friend swiss cake roll.

 The sunset was beautiful and the rain held off the whole night

 Next to eat...deep fried oreos. I was really full from dinner when we got these so I didn't eat any, but I kind of want to go back and get some.

 "Hey Shrek! I'm a donkey!"

 These little piglets were full of energy...they were running, chasing, and playing the whole time we were in there.

 The lights of the fair never fail to impress

 We love hanging out with these two!

 As we left, we got to see the fireworks...we're old now and were ready to leave at 9:30.

We tried to go see the pig races, but so did everyone else. By the time we got there, there wasn't a seat or even a slight opening in the crowd to see the race. We ended the night with deep fried cheese and hand dipped cheesecake.
