I found these on Pinterest and thought they might be a good option for my breakfast dilemma in the morning. So, I tried them. They weren't hard to make...I left out the flaxseed meal because I don't know what that is and I had all of the other ingredients without going to the grocery store. I think they need to be baked longer than called for in the recipe. I cooked my first batch for 30 mins and the second for 35 mins and I still think they could have gone longer. As far as taste goes...they taste like plain oatmeal. My recommendation is that they definitely need something on top. The ones with chocolate chips were really good while the ones I left plain were too bland. We ate several of them and I froze the rest. When I thaw them, I think I'll put cinnamon sugar or brown sugar on top of the plain ones. They aren't anything special, but will be good for breakfast once school starts back.
I would give these a 5 out of 10.
