COVID Quarantine: Weeks 7-9

Week 7:
Allyson was here again!

We spent this week really focusing on getting the house ready to sell.

We spent the first day of showings at the church playing.

I was never sure what day it was and felt like I was forgetting something because of that.

Again...lots of outside time

We found a fun place to do a little swimming and exploring!

We had a little friend get together to celebrate Gallion's birthday

Overall we just enjoyed this 2 year old and 4 month old!

Week 8:
We started out this week in Durham house hunting.

Talk of the stay home order being lifted started and it felt like "normal" was right around the corner.

We ended the week back in Morganton and I had my first meltdown in all of this.

The stress of house hunting and a lot of work piled on my plate at school (12 hour required professional development to complete within the week) got the best of me.

We had a little going away parade at the church for Stephen's last Sunday with SCC.

"Normal" life with bills and growing babies continued...

Mema and Allyson came back with us to Morganton for the weekend...I can't really remember why, but it was fun!

Week 9:
Back in Durham doing more house hunting.

We celebrated Mother's Day in person with Mema and Nana! And on Zoom with Grandma and Pa.

We spent lots of time playing ball, going in the woods with daddy, walking the block in Marywood and having play dates with Joey. We even got a walk on the greenway in Raleigh with Mema and Allyson that ended in a fun visit with Mama Barb.

Overall things weren't too different. We only went to stores as needed and only got take out. At this point we were a lot more relaxed about seeing family and friends, but still spent the majority of our days at home playing and working. I think I'm going to remember all of the time we spent playing outside and the sunshine the most.
