The Ever Evolving Tin Man

When I get about a day into this project each year, I swear I won't do it again.
This time of year = exhaustion for teachers.
A group guided, three day project exponentially increases that exhaustion.

Thankfully, when the year rolls back round, I forget swearing off this project and do it again.

Our tin "men" turned out great again this year.

It always amazes me all of the different approaches students take each year and how their creativity increases.

Last year they did a great job figuring out it's best to do the tin foil before putting the shapes together.
This year, they were SO focused on cutting out and getting their shapes together. I was sure they would all run out of tin foil. But, they impressed me and most finished with a covered tin man.
We had several animal creations this year!

You can really see how they've changed over the years by clicking here or here.
