We Moved...Yes, Again

As soon as we got back from camp we moved.

Not the greatest timing, but oh well...

We are in the new house and slowly but surely getting settled.

Have I mentioned I hate moving?

I really hated it this time and had very little motivation to get it done.

My brain still hasn't comprehended that this is the last move for a while...

Despite the lack of energy and motivation with moving again, we really are so excited about our home and are really happy with it!

We had so much help from local friends and family and could not have done it without them!

Just to recap the reasoning behind my hatred of moving:

June 1987 born living on Carver Street in Durham.

2000 our family moved to Infinity Road in Durham.

August 2005 I moved to Elon for my freshman year.
May 2006 I moved home from Elon.
July 2006 I moved to my first apartment in Boone (Mountaineer Village) where I lived for the next three school years.
(I moved home "partially" for each summer May 2007, 2008, 2009)
July 2009 I moved to a new apartment in Boone where I lived for the year I was in grad school.
July 2010 I moved home.
June 2011 after completing my first year of teaching, I moved classrooms.
August 2011 Stephen and I moved into our first home (E6-Croasdaile Crossings Townhouse).
April 2012 we moved down the street to our second home (C11-Croasdaile Apartments).
August 2014 after my fourth year of teaching, I moved classrooms again (4 years of accumulated stuff is much harder to moved than just one year).
October 2014 Stephen and I moved into the Jackson's house (Libscomb Drive).
March 2015 Stephen and I moved back to apartment life.

August 2015 Stephen and I moved to Morganton (North Chestnut Drive).

August 2015 I moved 5 years worth of teaching from Durham to McDowell County

December 2015 I moved all of my teaching stuff from McDowell County to Burke County

July 2016 Stephen and I move into our house (Parkview Place).

That's 5 classrooms in 6 years of teaching

That's 6 homes in 5 years of marriage

That's a total of 11 homes in 29 years of life

I really just hate the act of moving now and realize I am so very blessed and have had a great time in all of these places making memories with people I love!
