Month by Month: January

At the end of each year, I look back through pictures and reflect on the highlights from the year, which I love doing. This past year, a friend I follow in Instagram did month by month reflections, highlighting all of the fun things she and her husband did that month. I decided I wanted to do that...I want to be intentional this year about remembering the big moments as well as the small moments in between.

So our January highlights:

Netflix documentary binge
I am not a fan of documentaries, but Making a Murderer surprisingly sucked me in. Stephen and I watched all 10 hours of it mainly because we wanted to know what happened. It was slow and repetitive, but we enjoyed it.

Streaming Passion live
Passion is a conference for college students held in Atlanta (and in Texas this year) where the best of the best worship bands and speakers come together for a week of solid teaching and worship. It's incredible. Stephen and I loved attending when we were in college and enjoyed watching what we could on their live stream this year.

Starting a new job.

Stephen preached in "big church" for the first time

Stephen got ordained
Y'all. I had no idea what to expect for this night, but did not expect the huge outpouring of love and support we got from family friends, both old and new. It was an incredible evening and was so encouraging to me and Stephen.

Attended a 13 year old's birthday party, laughed at the awkward middle schoolers, coached the guys on how to ask the girls to dance, and had a blast in the photo booth!
