As soon as the snow started, we packed up and headed to Stephen's mom's house. She was on a cruise so we moved into her place for Snow Storm 2014. She has a fire place, is within walking distance to the Eno, and has a sweet hill right down the road to sled on...why would we not stay there??
We woke up to not a lot of snow, but still a beautiful covering of white, fluffiness!
After a yummy breakfast of eggs and bacon, we set off exploring in the woods...
The river was beautiful!
Obligatory snow selfie! I don't think we've put on snow clothes since we lived in Boone. Stephen (aka Joey being Chandler) said it best, "Can I BE wearing anymore clothes?!?"
When we got back, we spent a little time sledding. The conditions weren't the greatest and we didn't get any pictures, but I can assure you our inner kid had a blast!
