Some moments when I think about that, I wonder how in the world we are already half way through...and then other moments I think how in the world are we only half way through...
This week was our testing week. My kids did great with it...two straight days of silent testing and frantic make up work completion is always fun for me!
All of my class averages on the district cumulative assessment were higher than the district and school average. We won't talk about the fact that those averages were all in the 30s...
With the end of a quarter comes a much needed teacher work day. We got lucky this year with it falling on Martin Luther King Jr weekend. That means we have a (kind of) 4 day weekend!
Just like every year (or so it seems), I had a student ask me what milk day is when they saw MLK day written on the calendar...ahem moving on...
Since I have all day Tuesday to get grades and plans and copies done, I left all of my school stuff at school this weekend!
I will be focusing on chores, reading, shopping, sleeping, and relaxing!
Happy
