Taste Test: Holiday Edition

With the holidays suddenly upon us, I've been trying lots of new recipes to try and keep variety in our meals. Instead of three posts, I'll review three in one to save time!

Chicken & Biscuit Casserole
This is easy to put together and oh so very good! Biscuits, chicken, and cheese...how can you go wrong? I boiled my chicken the night before, threw it together and popped it in the oven. I left the peas out and it was great! Rating: 9 out of 10

Italian Crock Pot Chicken
Chicken, potatoes, carrots, and italian dressing. This was a twist on the traditional marinate and grill italian chicken I've always had. Stephen put this all together the day we made it and said it did take awhile to get it all ready to go in the crock pot.  It tasted great! The chicken was moist and tender. Stephen and I both wished the potatoes and carrots had been cooked separately. The italian flavoring was a little strong on all of it. It was good the night we had it, but neither of us went back for the left overs. I'd recommend it and will probably make it again with just the chicken. Rating 8 out of 10.

Pretzel, Hershey Kiss, M&M Super Fast Dessert
There are really easy to make and a bag of each ingredient will make A LOT! They are a huge hit and make a great finger food. Stephen doesn't like pretzels so he doesn't like them. But, I think they are the perfect mix and sweet and salty! For Christmas goodies, I just picked out the red and green M&M's. Rating 10 out of 10
