Better late than never, right?
A weekend trip to Morganton. We got to visit the Apple Orchard and spend the day with the Chandlers.
After the Apple Orchard we went to a park for lunch. I assumed the splash pads were turned off for the season. After a few minutes we realized they were not. Chloe had a BLAST! I didn't even feel bad about stripping her down to her underwear to play since they were closed for COVID for the whole summer.
While in Morganton we stayed with the Gerigs. They live on the lake and we got a fall afternoon ride out on the lake.
Kinsley loved the wind in her face, but didn't love the life jacket.
Chloe loved going upstairs in the morning and reading with Linda.
We got to see the Stockhams everyday we were there with lots of play time in the back yard. Just like old times!
Chloe discovered the car buggy at the grocery store and LOVES it! She's a fun grocery partner. Just watch out...she'll sample any fresh produce you put in the buggy.
We got to visit with Mama Barb
Playing outside is still a favorite!
We got several morning play dates with the Reyners
Water beads! So fun until they all spill on the floor. We'll be saving these for the water table when it warms up.
We went to Smith Family Farm to go to the pumpkin patch. They have a huge play ground that the girls LOVED!
We put Chloe's playhouse together.
At least all of these leaves make for a pretty photo op.
Date night...COVID style. Take out in the car and a walk around Costco.
Kinsley has discovered Truett's water and food. It's a constant battle that she thinks is hilarious!
Morning Bid-Os (videos) in mommy and daddy's bed.
Kinsley got sick...such a long weekend with high fevers and an upset tummy. COVID test was negative. All she wanted to do was snuggle with mommy. After 2 doctor appointments, several calls to the on call nurse, and a trip to Urgent Care, she turned a corner after about 3 days of it.
Family pictures!
Halloween!
Drive thru style
Daddy Daughter breakfast date so Mommy could sleep in.
