Chloe Grace: 2 Years Old

You are 31 pounds (92nd percentile).
You are 35 inches (90th percentile).
You are in size 5 diapers and size 6 at night.
You are still in 2T clothes, but we're starting to add in 3T, especially in shirts.
You are in size 6 shoes.
You sleep great! 7pm-7am (7:30am lately) everyday and you still take a solid nap between 12 and 12:30.
You like for us to rub your back before we leave you for the night and when Kinsley was sleeping in the bassinet, you would always come in and ask to rub her back.

You're a great eater. We can all have the exact same thing on our plates, but you always want to eat and drink whatever daddy or I have. You either sit in your booster seat at the island or at your picnic table. Some mornings when I was getting ready for school, you insisted on eating your breakfast in the bathroom with me while you watched videos. You can eat cereal like a regular person and prefer corn flakes over any other cereal.
Some favorites:
Cheese dip
Noodles
Ranch
Chicken Nuggets
Eggs
Cereal

Around Thanksgiving you got a stomach bug that took us all down.

And, you got tubes put in right before you turned 2.
At the doctor a few days before you were scheduled to get tubes with a double ear infection.

You are talking so much and it's the best.
Some favorite sayings:
"I want to oooold it" (When you want to hold Kinsley)
"What is it?"
"What happened?"
"Oh yea!"
"Daddy rub back"
"Run, daddy! Run, daddy! Run!" (or whoever she wants to run with her)

You still love to watch videos and are great at working YouTube for Kids on the phone.

You still love to be outside.
You rode the tractor at Pa and Grandma's. You cried at first, but ended up loving it.
You will go out on the deck by yourself now and we really have to watch you now that you're good at steps. You'll be on the top of your playset outside before we know it if we aren't watching you closely.
You really liked the little bit of snow we got and daddy had fun taking you out in it.

You like to play "No more monkeys jumping on the bed" by jumping on the bed or couch.

Potty training is coming very soon. You're still very interested in the potty and often ask to go pee pee...usually after you have peed in your diaper. You peed for the first time on the potty the day after Kinsley was born and several weeks later pooped on the potty all by yourself. You didn't tell us you needed to go. I heard you taking your diaper off and thought I should check on you. When I got to you, you had pooped in the potty! I'm hoping this means potty training will be easy.

You tell me to "Go...Go in there" when I tell you to stop doing something or you want to do something you know you shouldn't do. Usually after you've done it, you come get me to show me what you've done.

You can sing the ABCs and count to 10 if we help you get past 4. If we don't, you just say "1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3..."
You love music and dancing and your dance moves are my favorite.

Your imagination is really showing and watching you play by yourself and with friends is so fun!
Some of your favorite things to play:
With babies...you're the best little momma to them
Read books
Empty the drawers in the kitchen
"Work" (playing on phone or computer)
Sweep
Colors and Stickers

You've been the best big sister and have transitioned really well to not being the only child. It's so sweet to watch you love on Kinsley. You've started calling her Kinsley Faith and it's adorable.

You like school and have the best teachers who love and spoil you so much! Makenna and Shelby.

We had your 2nd birthday party at the gymnastics gym. You got to jump and eat...2 of your favorite things with all of your favorite friends!

You still like to read books and rock rock before bed. You've gotten to where you'll sing along with me as I rock you and it's just the sweetest. I wish I had video of it, but you insist on the lights being off, daddy leaving the room, and the door being shut when we rock rock. So, I'll just store those memories in my heart and soak it in for as long as it lasts.
Our song list:
ABCs
Jesus Loves Me
Jesus Loves the Little Children
You are My Sunshine
And since your birthday party, you've added Happy Birthday.
But you just like the "Happy birthday dear ____" line and we have to sing that line to everyone and everything.

Chloe Grace, you are so loved. Every moment with you is so fun. You keep us on our toes and keep us smiling. I think if I could stop time, I would stop it right now.
