Our few advent activities that didn't happen this year:
We usually make our Favorite Christmas Snack and Camp Out in front of the Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve. When Christmas Eve rolled around, I asked Stephen if he really wanted to camp out. We both agreed it's a lot of work and decided to just sleep in our own bed. I think we're officially old and lame. I do plan on bringing this one back when Chloe is a little older and can camp out with us.
The snow canceled our Small Group Christmas Party and our Daniel Boone Inn Double Date Night, but we plan on making both of these happen in January.
We didn't get around to Trying a New Recipe or going on a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride. I was really hoping we could make the carriage ride happen in Central Park, but it didn't work out. We weren't home or free any Friday or Saturday night in December to do the ones in Downtown Morganton.
2018, you were fun!
2019, here we go!
