Once we got settled and I got into the grove of things at school, life seemed to slow down a lot. You may remember I was blogging like crazy. School expectations being less and me not being in as many leadership roles meant I had a lot more free time at school.
Well, as the year really got underway, meetings picked up as well as other responsibilities at school. I am happy to say I still have time to get everything done (planning, grading, etc) at school, but there just isn't as much down time for me during the day at school as there was at first.
Life outside of school also got busy fast. Add in the holidays and I can't remember that last time I cooked a meal at home.
This past week we had something going on every night. Thankfully this weekend was unplanned and we got a lot of rest in...just what I need as I head into the last week before Christmas break.
The next two weeks are going to be crazy with more moving and a job change (details coming soon), but I'm hoping we can get everything done in time to slow down and enjoy Christmas.
I'm happy to say all Christmas shopping and wrapping is done and we're going into Monday with all clean dishes and clean clothes...and an overall clean house!
4.5 days...I'm also not hating this 70 degree weather in December...if only I could get motivated to run.
