But, first we'll be finishing up the summer here in Durham.
From the week of June 21st-August 8th, Stephen will be home a total of 3 weeks.
We knew if there was any hope of a vacation, it had to happen ASAP! Stephen arranged a place for us to stay at the beach and after Father's Day celebrations, we headed out last Sunday for a few days at the beach.
We were there Sunday-Thursday, with three great sun days! It was hot, but the ocean was calm and cool...with no shark sightings!
Wrightsville is our favorite local beach to go to, but let me tell you, we spoiled ourselves last year with Mexico!
Going into the week, it felt rushed. I felt like we were rushing into vacation and through it in preparation for the craziness that is going to be this summer. Thankfully, we were able to relax quite a bit, visit with some old friends, and eat at some of our favorite spots!
Let's be real...even if it is rushed, a week at the beach is always great!
