Want a simple BBQ chicken recipe? Here ya go! A friend of mine told me several years ago about cooking chicken in the crock pot with BBQ sauce. This recipe is essentially the same thing. The Sweet Baby Rays and Coke gave it a little bit of a different flavor (a little sweeter taste), but not much. I'll definitely keep Sweet Baby Rays in mind when I make this again! Our favorite BBQ sauce before trying this was just the store brand of hickory flavor. Again, it's super simple! Dump the chicken in, cover with BBQ sauce, and cook! When it's done, shred the chicken to soak up the extra juices. This is a good one to try that we rotate through our menu regularly.
