Haddon is 15 months!
You are 24 pounds and 9 ounces. (77th %tile)
You are 32 inches. (84th %tile)
You are in size 5 diapers. Fours still fit too so we're finishing those up.
You are comfortably in 12 month clothes and I have you in 18 month PJs.
You have all of your teeth!
You know that the cow says moo and you make the cutest fish face when we say what does a fish say.
You know where your nose and tongue are.
You love belly buttons and will try and lift anyone's shirt to poke their belly button.
You can sign more, all done, and please.
You can say Hey. Bye Bye. More (meh). Da Da. Thank You. Ball.
We had some wonderful friends take care of you while Mema recovered from surgery. You transitioned from place to place with no problem!
You love to read, especially touch and feel books.
You went through a little phase where you would bang your head on the floor when you got frustrated. It seemed to be short lived...I can't imagine that it felt good. You also went through a short phase of thinking it was hilarious to gag yourself while riding in the car. The more I'd tell you to stop, the more you would laugh and do it again.
You like when we whisper or sing in your ear. You lean right up against out mouth and sit so still. Sometimes you'll pretend to whisper back.
We finally officially sleep trained you in the middle of November. One Saturday morning I told daddy he was putting you to bed that night. And he did that night and the next several nights. For the next two weeks, I think I only put you to bed two or three times. I missed it, but you transitioned really well. The first couple of nights you woke some, but daddy soothed you and sometimes rocked you. After that, you've been sleeping all night with no bedtime feed. Every once in a while if you're over tired, you'll struggle going to sleep and will let me rock you to sleep, but for the most part you point to your bed after we read and sing. You sleep a solid 12 hours and take one nap that is anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 hours. You nap much better at home than other places.
Sometimes you start your nap in your high chair!
You are a good eater and you are not shy to turn food down if you don't want it or like it. When you're done, you throw your food on the ground. You think it's hilarious. We're working on that!
You have a sweet tooth just like me!
You know what a Chick-Fil-A cup is and ALWAYS want some when you see it.
Pizza and pasta are two favorites! But you don't like mac and cheese!
Before we sleep trained you, you were still nursing twice a day, once before bed time and once more in the morning (or the middle of the night). Once we sleep trained you, we dropped to just one feed in the morning. You will still nurse for about 10 minutes on one side each morning when you wake up. I think you could easily drop this feed, but I'm holding onto this as long as I can.
You are still not walking, but you can get where you want to be. You are a fast crawler! And you can go up and down the stairs with no problem! You love to be "chased" up the stairs.
While you might not be walking, if there is something to climb, you are going to climb it!
Climbing AND playing with cars...two of your favorite things!
You got sent to the walkers class at church one week even though you aren't a walker because you were climbing all the things you shouldn't be climbing in the cuddlers and crawlers class.
Look, mom, no hands!
The other thing you like to do is if you are on the bed or couch, you just fling yourself back!
You LOVE to be outside!
You are not a big fan of your feet getting dirty though or touching things like sand and grass. Not sure where you get that from! (I apparently was the same way as a child)
You have the best time playing with your sisters!
You and Kinsley are quite the pair!
I think you might be their biggest cheerleader!
Cheering for them at their dance recital.
You are your daddy's little twin.
You can blow kisses!
You love bath time!
You were the cutest pumpkin and shark for Halloween.
October felt like December usually does. We went to so many Halloween events.
And Christmas was so fun!
You are SO loved!
You went to the dentist for the first time and got your first hair cut all in the same day!
You are the sweetest, chillest, silliest little boy and we could not love you more!
