Chloe Grace: 12 Months

And just like that we have a one year old! It's crazy how fast you're changing these days. I keep a list on my phone for the month. Looking back at my 12 month list, you've already changed and mastered so many of the skills you were just beginning to show at the beginning of the month. You're still always wiggling as you can tell from the blurred hands in the picture above.

You are 21 pounds and 1 ounce.
You are 28.5 inches long.
You are in size 4 diapers.
You are in size 12 months clothes.
You are sleeping all night!
You are still on a 2 nap schedule, but we're starting to transition to 1 nap.
You are down to nursing 3 times a day. We dropped the lunch feeding first because you showed less and less interest in your bottle at lunch time.

We've had some sickness this month. The antibiotic you were on for your ear infection really upset your tummy. You pooped in the tub one of the first days on it. I was, of course, home alone. I drained the water as quickly as possible, got all of the toys out, and ran new water for another bath. It didn't seem to phase you. Anytime we had to go to the doctor, you did a great job of keeping the waiting room entertained!

We spent the weekend in Gatlinburg. It was a nice, slow weekend great for recovery for both of us.

You can blow kisses now (only when you want to) and it's the sweetest!

You've started playing with my eyes and eye lashes, especially when you're nursing.

You make funny faces when you're trying really hard to do something or are really excited about food.

You love playing with Truett's water (aka splashing it everywhere!)

You were very interested in the Roomba for a few weeks. You constantly wanted to turn it on. I would let you and when I thought you were distracted enough, I would turn it off. No matter where you were when I turned it off, you would crawl to it and turn it back on.

You took your first steps this month.

You got 2 more teeth.

You started waving bye bye and will say it (again, only when you want to)

We celebrated your first birthday!
