Chloe Grace: 8 Months

 8 Months!
You are:

You started out the month scooting around and it didn't take long for you to really start crawling.

One day after your nap when we came in to get you up, you looked right at daddy and said "da da!" completely unprompted and then again when we laid you down to change your diaper. You haven't done it since so we're only halfway counting it.

When you're crying and tired, you say "ma ma nigh nigh"

I'm not sure if you're telling me you want to go night night or not, but I'm definitely encouraging you to say ma ma!

You've started sitting in a high chair when we go out to eat and enjoy feeding yourself...or attempting to feed yourself.

You had lots of poop explosions this month.

You've started holding your own bottle.

You got to swing in a swing for the first time and you loved it!

You're starting to pull up on things. You can get up on your knees, but don't quite have the strength to get all the way up on your feet just yet.

You had your first "real" babysitters (aka non family) this month.

You're doing the head shake again and often on command (except when we try to video it, of course). You're learning how cute other people think it is and you love to do it when anyone is watching.

You would much rather play with Truett's toys than your own. Sometimes he shares and other times he takes his toy and moves away from you.

You decided sleeping through the night was only fun for that one week at the end of last month. You've had a few more nights of sleeping all night, but you still like waking up once to eat. We're getting ready to do some sleep training and try and knock that out for good.

Life with you is just so fun.
