Gallery Wall How To

I finally finished the gallery wall in our bedroom.

Here's how it worked.

After moving in and hanging things, there were a few items I didn't want to get rid of, but didn't have a place for.

I used those as inspiration and over the next several months screen shot anything I thought I might like to have go with those in a gallery wall.
I scheduled a weekend for Allyson to come visit because these things don't happen without her.

I showed her what I had and what I liked.

We went to Hobby Lobby and AC Moore and just walked around grabbing things that fit into the gold, black, white, wood theme I was using for inspiration.

When we got home, we measured off the space and used painters tape to recreate the space on the floor.

We placed my favorite pieces first and filled in from there.
It always takes several rearrangements to get it how we like it.
Then, we hung it! I had several empty picture frames and needed to go back and switch out some of the arrows we got. That's why it took me so long to finish, but I'm really happy with how it turned out!
