I wasted no time beginning my summer break and adjusting to a schedule of nothingness. I have spent a lot of time sleeping, organizing, cleaning, marking things off the wedding to do list, laying by the pool, traveling to see friends, and working when I feel like it. Being a teacher is AwEsOmE! :) They say this is the time of year when you remember why you went into teaching and why you love it. I am definitely loving it!
Stephen and I have been thrown two wonderful showers. Our first shower was about a month ago up at my Grandma's church. Small town churches are awesome and are always quick to show their love and give. We had a great time celebrating with them and were so grateful for all the gifts we got. My Grandma and aunt did a wonderful job organizing and throwing this shower!

This past weekend these lovely ladies did another amazing job of shower throwing.
We could not have asked for more from them. They went above and beyond any expectation we ever had. Our church family and friends showered us with lots of gifts, but more importantly reminded us how much we are loved. It was a whirlwind of an afternoon. Opening that many presents takes longer than you think.
